The LNAT test is the National Admission Test for Law in the United Kingdom. Many schools in the United Kingdom require the examination of the students that would like to apply for its undergraduate program in the legislation. At present there are eleven schools the LNAT test before you are in their undergraduate law program. The schools are the University of Birmingham, the University of Bristol, the University of Cambridge, Durham University, the University of East Anglia, the University of Glasgow, King's College London, Manchester Metropolitan University, the University of Nottingham, the University of Oxford and University College London.
The LNAT test is typically used by the incoming students during the year that they are applying for admission to one of these universities. The LNAT test is conducted in partnership with Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing business of Pearson Education. The LNAT is a test of two hours on the computer and in two sections. The first section is eighty minutes long and consists of multiple-choice questions on the ability to read, analyze, understand, and this information from a passage. The second section is forty minutes long and consists of an essay to write, the ability to construct arguments.
The reason for the LNAT test was designed to ensure a level playing field for applicants who seek to enter a law undergraduate program in one of these universities. This test allows administrators the ability to more impartial, and people from many different areas of life the opportunity to get into one of these prestigious programs.
